Trend Forecasting / Cool Hunting - Research Manager (Kids/Youth & Music Commercial Research) Salary: £37,000 - 55,000 plus (depending on experience) Central London Permanent

We are looking for a Research Manager or Associate Director fascinated by trend spotting & cool hunting / youth & kids market forecasting & the music sector! You will work for a small specialist (and the coolest company around!) who's got a unique partnership with one of the most innovative, multi-award winning experts in brands & culture. 
You will be at the forefront of intelligent next generation kids & youth intelligence and will be involved in working on projects of all sizes with cutting edge methodologies. 
Ideal Candidate: 
·        Youth/Kids/Music Commercial Research / Insight Specialist - you must have a genuine passion for these sectors 
·        Commercial research / insight experience gained ideally within a research agency / youth market intelligence company or insight division of a brand (involved with kids/youth/music) 
·        You should be familiar with QUALITIATIVE research methodologies (both traditional & innovative methods) - this is an ideal scenario! If you are a Quant expert with kids/youth/music sector experience and ready to learn qual techniques then please do apply 
·        We will also consider qualitative gurus who haven't yet had a chance to work in the next generation kids' research but who are really interested in this sector 
·        Strategic thinker with commercial focus 
·        Passionate about Consumer Insight, especially the kids / mums / babies / families/ young teens / music world 
·        Skilled in "cool-hunting / trend -scouting" and what it means for clients 
·        Fantastic presenter 
·        Interested / Experienced in TV, Music, Technology & FMCG industries. 
·        Clear, direct & directional in their thinking process and approach to clients 
·        Sincerely wants to make a difference to a client's business
We are looking for an Inquisitive mind; someone who's got PASSION for enquiry to all elements of research process. We would love you to be engaging, enthusiastic & genuinely love the youth / kids research market. There will be lots of workshops involved so you must have good logistics skills to ensure everything runs smoothly.
