My client is a media giant and they have an opportunity for a commercially aware researcher to work within their insight team. The position is a Senior Manager and you will help to support the development of commercial sales revenue across the business.
You will be required to deliver impactful and credible sales arguments to advertisers and agencies & strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
• Ensure they have the best Insight & Intelligence to optimise advertising revenue
• Identify areas of competitive advantage through insight & intelligence
• Develop and monitor the ROI of Strategic Insight in terms of generating ad sales revenue
• Develop & manage a best-in-class sales development resource (managing a team of 4, therefore management experience is key!)
• Provide a long-term perspective on advertising revenue & trends, helping the business to plan for the future
• Identify the most impactful revenue generating opportunities and influence sales teams to focus on these
• Monitor competitor & industry developments in advertising research & marketing
• Understanding the value of our products for clients
• Promote portfolio & cross-media solutions across the business
Essential Skills:
• Strong media experience (media owner / agency)
• Experience in working within a commercial environment... supporting a demanding sales team
• Numerate and analytical
• Excellent communication skills. A confident presenter
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen
• Team management experience
