Key responsibilities of the role:
• To develop strategy and plan and buy media activity for a range of exciting and diverse accounts
• To work across all formats of media and work alongside the online team to ensure an integrated approach to your clients' business
• To develop strong relationships with media owners to ensure rates achieved are competitive and offer additional value for your clients
• To manage client relationships and ensure they are kept informed of developments within the marketplace
• To assist in mentoring a junior member of the team
Key skills required for the role:
• You will need to be an experienced media planner buyer from within a media agency to a Senior Planner Buyer level or equivalent to be considered for this role
• Previous experience of working within a UK media agency is essential, either within or outside of London
• You will need to be capable of working across two formats of media
• You will need to have strong interpersonal skills to successfully develop relationships internally and externally
• You will need to be open to working as part of an integrated and sociable team
