Our client has a portfolio of award winning web sites and online services along with more than 100 market leading magazines, directories, direct marketing services, industry conferences and awards covering over 18 markets in the UK, Europe, USA and Asia.
We are looking for a fresh thinking sales director to come in and oversee the continual success 30 print brands and jobsites:
Key accountabilities/responsibilities:
• Demonstrates excellent leadership skills to inspire a large team of telephone sales executives to deliver on agreed objectives
• Works closely with all business units, sets challenging, attainable and consistent objectives
• Communicates clearly and effectively the business objectives, sets clear KPI's across all key metrics
• Uses measurement processes and systems to monitor performance against targets. Provides necessary support and addresses any performance gaps
• Recognises achievements and lets staff know they are valued
• Takes responsibility for all performance issues within Telesales Operation
• Recruits and retains talent
Key skills required:
• Proven Sales experience
• Proven Management and leadership experience, ideally with a telesales management background
• Ability to identify and develop sales talent through monitoring and coaching processes
• Excellent organisation and planning skills
• Excellent business acumen and financial competence e.g. budget /cost management
• Excellent sales coaching skills
• Ability to inspire trust and confidence in the team and gains respect through inspirational leadership
Experience required
• The successful candidate will ideally come from a Telesales Management background
• Will have a demonstrable management experience at senior level.
• Proven sales experience, on and offline
• Highly motivated and target driven
• Would have recruited, trained and performance managed telesales people
• Have been responsible for strategic planning and implementation
