Senior Operations Project Manager

An exciting & continuously growing market research agency is looking for an experienced Project Manager with superb technical Project Management skills & proven understanding of Market Research to establish & lead the Project Management Office and Quality Control for the UK business.
You will support the effective implementation of our client’s strategic objective to increase profitable sales by applying leadership, support and direction to large scale and international projects. Your business unit (Project Management Office) will spend considerable time supporting key account and research teams at the project pitch and planning stages.
You will have specific responsibilities for ensuring project planning is robust, quality and risk management are embedded at the project management level and will facilitate efficient project communication at all levels. The role will, following training, conduct project reviews and audits.
PRINCE2 qualification is essential for this role.
Ideal Candidate:
• Must have a degree in Business Management or related field (or equivalent in experience)
• Masters degree is highly desirable
• Ideally a member of professional project management body
• Must have a formal qualification in project management (PMI, PRINCE2 etc)
• Must have a proven track record in Project Management (ideally within Market Research environment)
• Must demonstrate excellent technical PM skills
• Has been involved in the following PM functions: full scale project planning, project scoping & initiation, large scale project planning, communications management, risk evaluation & risk management, time management, quality management, change management, issue tracking & project management
• Must be able to train other Project Managers in PM tools & techniques
• Must demonstrate strong analytical & problem solving skills
