Media Planning Director - high profile and challenging brands!

A senior level role has arisen, within this thriving top ten media agency, for a strong media planner to lead key accounts and bring a variety of expertise to a rewarding team. Due to recent new business wins, this is an exciting opportunity for someone keen to undertake a new and challenging role in media planning!

Key responsibilities of the role:
* Working across a range of high profile accounts you will be responsible for managing all media planning and strategic output across the team
* You will oversee the effective implementation of media plans and schedules across teams
* You will be responsible for managing a team of reports from Exec level through to AD, developing and guiding them in their capabilities
* This role will also involve board level duties and will allow you to undertake a key position in leading this agency; this will be an important part of this role
* You will be responsible for advising your clients on all aspects of the media marketplace, including emerging channels and developments within digital media
* You will be responsible for driving brand marketing through development of research techniques and projects to ensure effective insight drives their wider business and informs their media solutions
* You will work closely with other partner agencies including creative, sponsorship and PR agencies where required

Key skills required for this role:
* It is essential that you have gained a strong range of experience within media planning/comms planning to be considered for this role, from within a UK media agency to either an Associate Director or Business Director level
* You will need to be able to display a strong confidence in developing media strategy at a senior level and media planning across all formats of media
* You will need to be extremely capable of managing senior level clients, working closely with them to understand their business needs and objectives and be confident in development external relationships
* You will need to be competent in developing and presenting in new business pitches
* It is essential that you have strong management and leadership skills, as you will be expected to guide not only your immediate teams but others within the agency
* You must be keen to develop your media career further within a vibrant media agency and be looking to take a proactive approach to your work and the company that you work for
