Statistician – Senior Director Level – up to £65K!

The well-respected research agency is urgently seeking a DIRECTOR OF STATISTICS for its Media Division.
This is a newly created role and the post will involve working for a variety of clients covering television, radio, print, outdoor, online, entertainment, music, telecoms and technology.
Ideal Candidate:
• You will have extensive experience of statistical analysis within a Media or Market Research environment
• Experience across a variety of statistical techniques required (see below)
• You must be interested in being at the forefront of new technical developments and be able to write, present and advise on statistical matters
• Able to develop new & advanced statistical analysis & techniques
• Proven track record of writing proposals for & specifying statistical requirements on projects
• Able to co-ordinate statistical training when required
• Able to offer advice, to interpret concisely and add insight into statistical results.
• Proven track record of writing statistics papers and presenting on statistics and research topics at conferences.
• Keen to get involved on key development initiatives for the industry contacts
The successful candidate will be ideally well-versed with the following techniques:
• Data fusion of two or more data sets
• Imputation/ ascription to replace missing data within datasets
• Media modelling using techniques such as the Binomial or Gaussian methods
• Segmentation techniques/ multivariate analysis
• Prediction methodologies such as regression, CHAID
• Developing market forecasting techniques
• Developing desktop statistical software for clients and researchers to run their own analysis
