The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing executive with insight experience to join a well known media organisation. The core purpose of the role is to work with the Head of Marketing on all aspects of B2B marketing both above the line and below the line. It involves using all tools and channels (including insight) to increase awareness, consideration and purchase of the companies products and services. As marketing executive, you will be responsible for helping to shape and implement a wide range of tactics spanning most B2B marketing disciplines.
Key roles and responsibilities:
• As marketing executive, you will have the opportunity to be involved across all of the company’s business where needed.
• Shaping and implementation of B2B Marketing campaigns including direct mail, E-DM, PR, events, presentations, website, word of mouth, promotions
• Work with internal creative resource to develop dynamic, effective sales tools including presentations, print and online media kits, and other collateral.
• Research and Insight:
- Assisting in the provision of data and associated ‘added value’ insights to the business units
- Working on ad-hoc research projects from the briefing stage through to delivery
• Analysing the wealth of data to generate compelling insight for new and existing clients.
• CRM: Customer database organisation and management providing information to effectively target and develop existing and new business opportunities.
• Business Development, working with the various areas of the business to cross sell and position products and services.
Skills and experience:
As marketing executive, you will develop to span many areas of the business including Trade Marketing and PR, Research and Insight, New Business Development and Customer Relationship Management. As such it requires a character of many skills and attributes.
• Degree-level educated or similar further education qualification
• You will already be working as a marketing executive with experience in B2B Marketing, Insight or Media Planning.
• Excellent fact-finding skills and data management/interpretation capabilities.
• Commercial awareness and a good understanding of media terminology and how media is bought and sold.
• Familiar with a range of database, planning and research tools.
• Digital marketing expertise an advantage.
• Must be organised, inquisitive and a creative thinker.
• Proactive with the ability to execute efficiently and effectively.
• Proven ability to work well with team members at all levels and across departments
• Competent computer skills from excel to PowerPoint, database software knowledge a real plus.
