Marketing Manager – consumer
My client is a well known media organisation, and they are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join their successful team based in the heart of Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to be responsible for proposing, managing and executing direct marketing campaigns for a specific range of specialist titles.
As an experienced Marketing Manager, you will maximise magazine subscription sales and contribution across their allocated portfolio of titles, identifying and championing all opportunities for further growth.
The Marketing Manager will take an active role along with the Head of Subscriptions and Direct Marketing in the development, leadership and the management of the marketing team.
Requirements
• As an experienced marketing manager, you will have proven consumer magazine subscriptions marketing management experience, including significant online digital marketing skills
• Marketing qualification – IDM, CIM, PPA/IDM subscriptions marketing or equivalent
• Experience in recruiting, motivating, developing and leadership of direct reports
• Previous experience in preparing budgets and marketing plans across all media
• Strong CRM skills
• Exceptional communication skills
• A strong understanding of social media and experience of marketing through it
• Possess strong analytical skills
• Understand PPC strategy and be able to manage and analyse PPC campaigns
• As marketing manager, understand additional SEM methods
• Have experience of running analysis on performance and experience of effecting onsite changes to improve performance
• Proven experience of managing third party suppliers effectively over long term contracts using service management tools and techniques (SLAs, structured negotiation etc).
• Experience of producing reports for senior management.
