Job Profile: This role is within the new contracts department of one of the world's most effective B2B online publishers. The role will entail spearheading the new contracts team for a number of the B2B websites across their online portfolio, driving new business, and taking advantage of the rapid growth in the division.
The role will be predominantly phone based but with the opportunity for face to face sales on larger package contracts. The right individual will be hungry to target new business and be a confident closer. They will be expected to lead the team by example in championing new contracts.
The position will be supported by a client services executive that will help manage the account once the Senior Sales Executive has closed the business.
Product: One of the world's most effective B2B online publishers, with associated websites generating well over 1 million visitors each month.
The contracts team will be working on the industrial division with a network of websites covering everything from engineering to manufacturing.
The contracts will be for a number of new media products and services including the sales lead service, online advertising, newsletter and email marketing, and video solutions.
Key Tasks: To develop and build new contracts across the network of websites. Delivering a range of packages for new customers depending on their individual requirements and securing the contract.
To lead the new team by example and help deliver the aggressive growth strategy for the division.
To help initiate the contract handover for existing customers from 12 month to rolling contracts.
To identify and research new leads and revenue streams for the department.
Skills: The successful candidate will have at least 18 months sales and negotiation experience preferably within an online media sales role.
They will be an accomplished communicator, with excellent closing and negotiation skills.
