Key responsibilities of the role:
* Planning and buying for a range of accounts, across all formats of direct response media including Press, TV, Inserts and Door drops
* Maintaining close relationships with your clients, attending regular client meetings, presentation and responding to client requests
* To regularly to update clients on the marketplace and campaign results and analysis
* To analyse response data to inform your media planning, to create both targeted and cost effective media solutions and to suggest media testing where appropriate
* To negotiate rates with media owners to ensure media activity is bought to the desired CPT and achieves the required level of calls
* To regularly keep informed on the media marketplace to share information internally where necessary
* To support the wider team where necessary
Key skills required:
* You will need to have previous media experience, ideally within direct response media, to be considered for this role, this is not an entry level position
* You will need to have a strong awareness of direct response media and the principles of direct response to a media executive or similar level from within a London media agency
* You will need to have a strong awareness of press, inserts and DRTV
* You will need to have strong analytical capabilities and be confident in managing data
* You will need to have strong negotiation skills and the confidence in developing relationships with media owners
* Good attention to detail is vital!
* Overall a positive attitude and the enthusiasm to develop your media career further
