Key responsibilities of the role:
* Working across a range of brands to develop regional communications strategies in synergy with the creative partner thus ensuring that the client is strategic in their approach.
* Working closely with local markets to ensure local media activity is effective and targeted, within the confines of the market and to negotiate competitive rates for media activity.
* To work closely with your clients to provide strong client servicing to the range of brands within the portfolio of this FMCG brand - understanding client needs and objectives, establishing working agreements and then delivery of media activity/solutions
* To utilise relevant research tools such as TGI, IMS and Nielsen to develop effective consumer insight to inform your media planning
* Ensure that regions are briefed on best practices and relevant information and learnings are shared appropriately
Key skills required for this role:
* Previous international experience, from within an established Media Agency is essential to be considered for this role - you will need to have reached a Senior International Account Manager level or Account Director equivalent to be considered for this role
* You will need to be able to display strong analytical and audience insight capabilities and the ability to identify key insights and turn them into actionable strategies
* Good knowledge across all media is ideal for this role, in particular TV planning experience
* You will need to have experience of working with a range of local markets within the Eurozone
* You will need to be an articulate communicator, able to build and influence relationships at the highest level
* Strong leaderships skills
* Understanding of overall marketing functions, integrated communications, and communication channels beyond traditional media
* The ideal candidate will also be a curious and inquisitive individual with an open, challenging and engaging approach
