A fantastic and unique opportunity to continue your online media sales career in social media has arisen!
We are looking for an online ‘savvy’, enthusiastic, focused, creative and motivated individual with a minimum of 6 month’s online sales experience to join the commercial team at one of the largest social networking sites.
The role will be responsible for client direct and digital agency sales. You should demonstrate excellent telephone and face-to-face skills and be hungry for success with a determined “can do” attitude. Knowledge of the digital agency landscape is an advantage; however the demonstration of excellent sales success is more important.
Working for and directly reporting to the International Sales Manager, you will be trained to sell online media campaigns within a social media environment. ALL sales training will be provided after which you are responsible for maximising revenue on the network through sourcing new business and managing an existing client base (client direct and digital media agency).
You should demonstrate excellent telephone and face-to-face skills. Sales activity must be supported by timely and accurate administration.
Key accountabilities
The following accountabilities refer specifically to your sales functions:
• To ensure full coverage of your designated client base
• To proactively service customers, developing strong relationships and keeping clients up to date.
• To maximise revenue from existing clients
• To source new business and grow your client base
• To make a minimum of 20 effective sales calls per day
• To confirm the outcome and agreements of all client meetings in writing within 48 hours (including sales proposals)
• To negotiate rates in line with sales objectives
• To keep up to date client records on Salesforce, ensuring that information is entered in an accurate and timely manner
• Provide accurate revenue projections for your client base when requested
• To demonstrate a full understanding and application of sales techniques in all sales calls, meetings and written communication
• To monitor the relevant competitor websites for leads
