As a consultant you will work across a broad range of clients. Your level of contact will be at senior management and director level. You will need to understand their business, their culture and get to know the individuals and their teams. You will be responsible to your clients for delivering a high level of service and they will expect you to advise them on all aspects of recruitment.

From the candidate perspective you will be interviewing and advising candidates on their next potential career move. You will be assessing their skills, personality and job requirements in relation to your clients’ needs and advising accordingly.

An excellent consultant needs to have strong account handling and communication skills, you need to be a good listener and consultative in your approach balanced with the drive and motivation to meet your clients and candidates needs.
